Children & Youth Ministry
The children's and youth ministry embodies Proverbs 22:6 scripture, "train up a child in the way he should go and he is old , he will not depart from it." At Macedonia AME, we provide a safe space for our children and youth to learn more about God, increase self-esteem and strengthen their faith in God. We are committed to training up the next generation of fully devoted followers of Christ.
Women's Ministry
At Macedonia AME, we are intentional about creating a welcoming and nurturing environment where all women can feel free to develop their personal relationships with God; a relationship that will, ". . . equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen!” (Hebrews 13:20-21)
Men's Ministry
We have one goal for the men of Macedonia AME; develop strong men to lead families though the power of Jesus Christ. It is our mission to help men nurture their relationships with Jesus Christ, which strengthens their role in the church, community and at home. As a result, “we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.”
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry is a vibrant part of Macedonia AME. We are deeply passionate and praise and worship as we draw people to Christ. We "make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves..." (Psalm 100)
Christian Education Ministry
The Christian Education Ministry works diligently to create, maintain and execute programs and strategies that develop the spiritual growth and discipleship of believers. Here at Macedonia AME, we are intentional about developing a sound, coherent philosophy for Christian education based on the Word of God. We do this so that we can be the hands and feet of God, who transform lives for Jesus Christ as we "go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost..." (Matthew 28:19)
Greetings & Courtesy Ministry
They Greetings & Courtesy Ministry at Macedonia makes a point to welcome each and every member and visitor to our church because we are all family! "...the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the Lord, were keepers of the entry." (1 Chronicles 9:19)
Single Parent Family Ministry
At Macedonia AME, we reserve a special place for single parents in our congregation. We are the biggest cheerleaders for single parent households and work together with families to encourage their spiritual journey. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth..." (Ephesians 6)
Couples Ministry
Marriage is gift from God, but it is not easy. Here at Macedonia AME, we encourage marriage and believe in its sanctity. "For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her..." (Ephesians 5:25)
Latino Ministry
We are an inclusive church that loves that God made everyone differently. God made it clear that we are to love everyone. For the bible says, "above everything, love one another earnestly, because love covers over many sins..." (1 Peter 4:8)
